Czar.....by Chuck Bevills This
image was taken at the '02 IPMS Nats in Dallas, Tx.
A 2nd image of the Czar
Special Note: It is known for a fact that Chuck is the builder of the Czar and
photographic evidence shows the Czar was entered in ModelFiesta 18. It is not
certain in which category it was entered. Its placement as 1st, 2nd, or 3rd
is also not certain. Several participants in ModelFiesta 18 remember that the
Czar won not only its category, but also Best Armor and Best of Show. This,
however, is all unofficial. Others remember that Gary Fuller's Titanic won Best
of Show. Chuck was contacted via email in 2002 but declined to provide data
regarding this spectacular piece of work.
Overview of the Armor Display area. Only two individuals in this picture are
positively identified. Lee Forbes is viewing some aircraft (partially blocked
from view by the gentleman in the black T-shirt on the left) Charlie Moriarty
has his back to the camera in a powder blue t shirt.
