This is the home on the web of Alamo Squadron, the San Antonio chapter to the International Plastic Modelers' Society. Discover the many models, activities and events the club is happy to build, support, organize and promote.

Established in 1977, the Alamo Squadron is a social organization in which all modelers and modeling interests are accepted and invited to join in the fun and enjoyment of making models, as well as the camaraderie of helping others enjoy this wonderful hobby. We are proud to have served the central Texas community for over 45 years, as well as supporting other hobby clubs in Texas, Mexico, and the southern United States by cultivating and promoting a general interest in the scale modeling hobby.

MEETING DATE CHANGE FOR NOVEMBER

The November Meeting will not be held in November. The church had a conflict of schedule that date so we will move our meeting up and meet Thursday, October 30th, 2025.

December's meeting will be the White Elephant Exchange. Are you ready for it?

Our September gathering brought many of our members together once again for a vibrant evening filled with creativity, craftsmanship, and camaraderie. The latest scale modeling projects on display—from meticulously detailed builds to imaginative compositions—sparked lively discussion and admiration throughout the room.

Our meetings are diverse, and cover a range of different activities. Starting with our monthy meeting with learning programs and Work in Progress reports, a biannual, multi-week instructional class, and informal get-togethers of club members to work on scale models in a group environment promoting the sharing of skills and techniques.
